About Us

Paths 2 Communication was founded in 2000 to provide a variety of options of evidence-based, innovative and leading-edge assessment and intervention for children and youth with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays or developmental disabilities.

Research shows that early diagnosis and intervention for children are key components to achieving long-term positive effects on development. At Paths 2 Communication we work closely with the family to customize a program of evidence-based therapies that best fits the needs of both the child and the family. By fostering communication, play, and language skills, we help children build strong foundations for lifelong learning and social success.

Our belief at Paths 2 Communication is that parents are the experts on their children. We are committed to collaborating with parents and guardians to empower them throughout the course of assessment, therapy and coaching.

Laura Hutchinson

As a clinician, coach and mentor Laura helps families and caregivers develop calm connection and communication. She is passionate about empowering parents to grow great kids today to have a positive impact on tomorrow.

With over 25 years of experience empowering parents in the treatment process with children, Laura has developed eclectic assessment treatment skills to approach development of the whole child.
